Trump Plans Launch Of ‘Operation Aurora’ To Remove Migrant Gangs From US

At a rally in Aurora, Colorado, President Donald Trump announced “Operation Aurora,” a new plan aimed at eliminating illegal immigrant gangs from the United States if he is re-elected in November. Trump made the pledge while addressing the crowd, declaring that Nov. 5, 2024, would mark “liberation day in America.”

Trump criticized Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden for allowing high levels of illegal immigration, which he said have led to the rise of violent migrant gangs such as the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua, which has caused unrest in Aurora. Trump vowed that his administration would target and deport these gangs to restore safety in American towns.

Trump explained that his plan would involve the use of the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, an old law allowing the president to deport or detain any foreign nationals from countries posing a threat to the US. He promised that elite law enforcement squads, including ICE and Border Patrol agents, would be deployed to capture and deport gang members swiftly.

The president also called for the death penalty for any illegal immigrant convicted of killing a US citizen or law enforcement officer, stating, “We will send a message that crime committed by migrants will not be tolerated in this country.”

Trump further criticized sanctuary cities like Denver and announced plans to push Congress for legislation that would ban these policies. He promised to launch the largest deportation operation in US history and close the border to illegal immigration.

Trump concluded by calling on Coloradans to vote for him as a protest against Biden-Harris immigration policies, which he claimed are responsible for the country’s immigration crisis.
