Swiftie Sibling Snoozes Through Eras Tour, Sparks Social Media Frenzy

A brother who fell asleep mid-concert during Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour has gone viral for all of the outrage and amusement caused by him among the singer’s fans — known as Swifties.

The video was posted by TikTok user Christina and shows the sibling nodding off while Swift sings her song “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart”. The incident happened during the second concert in Lisbon, Portugal, on Saturday.

The sleepy brother, who bobbed his head up and down to the music when Swift sang her 10-minute version of “All Too Well,” finally gave in to sleep — fans everywhere were in disbelief, wondering how this man slept through Swift’s emotional performance while they fought for seconds-long tickets to her sold-out tour. One Swiftie lamented, “Please, that’s who got a ticket but not ME???😭😭.”

Others, however, praised the brother for his supportive gesture, with one fan commenting, “We love a supportive brother who is there to not leave you alone ✨💖.” The original poster acknowledged her brother’s effort, noting that he had even worn face gems and participated in the festivities earlier in the night.

Even the sleepy brother seemed to have joined the live chat and apologized for those who didn’t get a ticket. He also said he had to take a nap cause he danced a lot earlier. Some didn’t like this livechat at all, but most people agreed that the brothers presence was very much needed and he is doing a great job supporting his sister. One commenter said “He made the effort and came, that’s what matters.” We agree too, any brother that makes his sister dance more is surely doing a great job.
