Noem Identifies DHS Leakers Who Exposed ICE Operations, Warns Of Prosecution

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem announced that her agency has identified individuals responsible for leaking classified information that compromised a planned ICE operation in Los Angeles. Noem vowed to hold them accountable, saying that their actions put law enforcement at risk.

The leaked memo, published by the Los Angeles Times, revealed details of an ICE raid targeting criminal illegal immigrants. Following the leak, left-wing activists and sanctuary city officials organized protests to obstruct federal enforcement. Noem described the leak as a deliberate effort to undermine the mission of securing the border.

On Fox News, Noem stated that DHS had begun an aggressive internal probe to track down those responsible. “I have found some leakers. We are continuing to get more,” she said. She explained that polygraphs and communication monitoring have been deployed to weed out bad actors within the agency.

Noem made it clear that anyone caught leaking information would be dealt with severely. “They will be fired. There will be consequences,” she said, adding that leaking sensitive details not only disrupts ICE operations but also endangers officers and their families.

The leaks came as ICE ramped up efforts under President Donald Trump’s leadership, reversing Biden-Harris policies that hindered immigration enforcement. While ICE has regained the ability to arrest and deport dangerous individuals, sanctuary cities continue to provide safe havens for illegal immigrants.

Noem did not specify which agencies the leakers worked for, but she assured the public that further details would be released as the investigation unfolds.
