Miller: ‘Full Might’ Of Federal Government Will Be Used To Remove Illegal Immigrants

Stephen Miller, White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy, outlined the Trump administration’s aggressive approach to mass deportations, confirming that all relevant federal agencies will be mobilized to enforce immigration laws. He stressed that the administration will utilize the full power of DHS, DOJ, and DOD to ensure that removal orders are executed swiftly.

At a White House press briefing, Miller responded to questions about the pace of deportations, stating, “I can promise you that the full might of the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice, the Department of Defense, and every element and instrument of national power will be used to remove with speed all criminal illegals.”

Miller pointed to key actions already taken by the administration, including the designation of cartels as terrorist organizations and an unprecedented increase in ICE operations. He noted that deportations have accelerated rapidly, with approximately 11,000 illegal immigrants removed in just 18 days.

The administration is also expanding detention space to accommodate the growing number of deportees. Guantanamo Bay has begun accepting flights of illegal immigrant detainees, and plans are in place to expand the facility’s capacity to 30,000. Marines have been deployed to assist in the expansion process.

Officials say that illegal crossings have dropped significantly under Trump’s leadership. The administration claims that in the days following his return to office, border apprehensions at ports of entry declined by 93%.

Miller made it clear that the administration intends to continue escalating enforcement efforts, ensuring that illegal immigrants with final removal orders are swiftly deported.
