Left-leaning news outlets recently decided to claim that former President Donald Trump’s use of the term “bloodbath” signaled there would be civil unrest in the country if the former president does not win the 2024 presidential election. Such ignorance comes as illegal immigration reaches record highs and the U.S. Supreme Court decides on First Amendment cases.
The former president recently held a massive rally in Dayton, Ohio, where he campaigned for GOP congressional candidate Bernie Moreno.
Trump spoke about how he plans to charge a 100% tariff on vehicles imported into the U.S. from Mexico. The former president said that if he did not become president, there would be a “bloodbath” in the automotive industry.
Trump referenced Chinese President Xi Jinping in his remarks, saying that the vehicles China is manufacturing in Mexico will receive a 100% tariff on them in a potential Trump administration.
“We’re going to put a 100% tariff on every single car that comes across the line, and you’re not going to be able to sell those cars if I get elected,” the former president said.
“Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole — that’s gonna be the least of it. It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country. That will be the least of it. But they’re not going to sell those cars. They’re building massive factories,” he added.
Of course, the mainstream media failed to acknowledge this, with outlets such as NBC News releasing false headlines, such as “Trump says there will be a ‘bloodbath’ if he loses the election.”
NBC News’ deceptive headlines, along with that of many other leftist media outlets, come at a time when concerns over election fraud are growing, illegal immigration is setting new records, Americans are unable to afford a home and the U.S. Supreme Court is deciding on cases that could set the standard for how the First Amendment is interpreted in the future.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, conservative commentator Charlie Kirk noted that instead of the mainstream media using its spotlight to address issues of importance to Americans, it chooses to spread falsehoods about comments Trump made during a rally.
