Once again, Florida residents are speaking out about yet another instance of springbreakers having no consideration or concern for the consequences of their actions — this time, choosing to dump two massive cans full of trash into the ocean.
As residents of popular vacation towns are fully aware, many tourists have no regard for the safety or cleanliness of the vacation spot. From starting wildfires in Colorado mountain towns to partying loudly and dumping trash in Florida, many tourists appear to believe that these areas are solely made for their amusement.
Spring Break is especially filled with these incidents, and Florida residents are sick and tired of it.
In the latest incident, a video has gone viral of a group of drunk partygoers dumping two large trash cans into the ocean in Boca Raton, Florida. The spring breakers were in the Florida town to attend the annual Boca Bash over the weekend, which had around 10,000 attendees.

Speaking with local news station WSVN, Boca resident Rodrigo Samsing condemned the tourists’ actions.
“It just really infuriates you to see someone trash the ocean like that,” he told the outlet, adding: “You know, nobody else on the boat tried to stop them. Everybody was just celebrating.”
“I mean they already had the trash sitting in the garbage can, they could have just put a bag, grabbed a bag, filled it up and thrown it away. Instead, they just dump it carelessly into the ocean. It’s just really sad to see,” Samsing continued.
Representatives for Boca Bash told the news station that the spring breakers have since been identified, and condemned their actions as “completely unacceptable.”
“It is irresponsible boaters like this that have zero care for our oceans that give this event a bad reputation,” the statement continued.
An investigation into the incident has been launched by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. None of the individuals have been identified as of yet, and it is unclear whether they have been arrested. A collage of mugshots from arrests during Boca Bash has been shared on social media with claims that these were the individuals responsible for dumping trash, but it has since been confirmed that these arrests were related to driving boats under the influence, and none of them were involved in the incident.
