A new report by the House Judiciary Committee has unveiled concerning findings about the Biden-Harris administration’s management of the southern border. The report, “TERROR AT OUR DOOR: HOW THE BIDEN-HARRIS ADMINISTRATION’S OPEN-BORDERS POLICIES UNDERMINE NATIONAL SECURITY AND ENDANGER AMERICANS,” reveals that from fiscal year 2021-2023, 250 illegal aliens on the terror watch list were encountered at the southern border, with at least 99 of them being released into the country.
The report highlights a troubling incident involving eight Tajik nationals with potential ISIS ties. Three of these individuals were released after scheduling appointments through the CBP One app, exposing significant weaknesses in the vetting process. Additionally, the report points out systemic issues within immigration courts, where judges have granted bond to potential terrorists due to a lack of access to classified information.
Jake Schneider, the RNC’s Rapid Response Director, condemned the release of these suspected terrorists as “criminal negligence.” The Trump-Vance campaign has also criticized Vice President Kamala Harris’s handling of the border crisis, pointing to her role as border czar and the resulting national security threats.
These findings have sparked renewed debate over the administration’s border policies, emphasizing the need for stronger measures to ensure national security.
